An image of a great piece of Architecture
Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the middle of Beijing is the most magnificent architecture I have ever seen. It is huge, consists approximately of 980 surviving buildings and covers 720,000 square meters. People usually call it "Purple Forbidden City" according to its Chinese name (Zijin city). It had been served as a home for 24 Emperors from 1420 to 1911, for almost 5 centuries. The combination of red wall and yellow roof discovers there, is the main element in this palace. Later it becomes the symbol of this royal family in the Far East.
